This is an account of the recent findings of a Dr. Lukaski in regards to copper and bone health. The implication here is that during situations of metabolic stress, bone loss may be intercepted by larger than "normal" amounts of dietary copper.
There may be untoward effects of protracted administration of this level of copper that are still uncharacterized, but at the moment, it would seem that such copper can be a boon for bones.
