I would be careful with pills that contain large amounts of B-vitamins. Althouh B-vitamins are water-soluble and can be controlled by the body's natural self-regulatory mechanisms fairly easily, they may still exert pharmacologic effects if you are carpet-bombing them into you through constant and excessive supplementation.
In any case, it was found that people getting folate from food had reduced incidence of pancreatic cancer, but from pills, there was no similiar reduction. Of course, in terms of statistics, it may be that "natural folate" has so many things "hitching a ride" with the benefits should no longer be ascribed to "just" the folate, but, there could be something genuinely bad about choosing a pill over a natural foodstuff.
