Roy Walford, founder of the human calorie-restriction movement, passed away in April 2004. We are saddened by the loss of one of the world's greatest humanitarians. Roy was not only an exemplary researcher, he was a gifted communicator, educating the public of the only proven life-extension paradigm thus far known to science. The world is indeed an emptier place without Roy. But we celebrate his voluminous contributions and perpetuate his memory by our conviction and committals to calorie-restricted lifestyles. His spirit remains alive and will continue to enrich us.
