Here's my days food

I either choose sweet potato or carrots and alternate each day, and sometimes I have salmon, and cod regularly. As you can see potassium intake is very high compared to what the average person gets from a diet, which is why Im so confused at my low serum potassium level! - I'll just tell the doctor to take a look on tuesday and show that it is NOT diet induced low K level. Food is not boiled btw, most steamed or raw.

More diet analysis

I have just been through DWIDP saved files and noticed that my potassium intake fell from 4.8 - 5.2g to around 3.2g a day in june and july. This would have still been considered normal and above the recommended amount, so would it have been a factor in my low-normal serum potassium level? The reason that it went down is because I was totally broke, no money at all and I couldnt buy my Whey protein powder (which is quite expensive and gives me around 729mg potassium a day...). Also couldn't buy as many veggies and had to limit portions to make them last... ( I do this anyway, but had to do it even more during this time).

Im going to speak to my doctor tomorrow about getting re-tested and see what 6g a day of potassium for just over a month have done to serum K levels.

Weight

Not sure about weight in the morning now, but at 2000k/cal I am weighing in at 113lbs at the end of the day (with light clothes on). I am probably anywhere from 107-108lb I assume.

C Reactive Protein test
I was wondering about the detection limits of the test I got done, because CRP is used to detect diseases like autoimmune diseases rather than low grade inflammation what HS-CRP is used for. Looking around the internet it seems that certain labs have different detection ranges depending on the equipment used, and quite a few studies I've read say that there was a 2mg/L detection limit for CRP (or I could be understanding it wrong). The lower detection limit is probably around 1 mg/L I would assume.

Need to find someone on CR that had allergies prior to CR or still has them

If anyone reads this in the future that has had allergies before doing CR and then seemed to go supressed after initiating CR then please email me or reply here. What would be useful is seeing some CRP tests done on people with allergies to see if CR only attenuates but not reduces CRP to the average CRONie value of 0.2mg/L. I've already posted this question on CR society mailing list but got very little or no response.

I would really like some suggestions for lowering inflammation even more, I really need to get this sorted out. I explained to the doctor that I am trying to not rely on medicine to solve all my problems for me and am trying to be pro active about my health. He understood that but still could offer me no real good advice.

What can I use to help with the inflammation in my throat and nose?

I'm going to drop nasonex and try this: http://www.optionsmedical.com/sterimar.htm
