Many CRONies follow a Zone-like calorie-restricted diet. But are "high"-protein/"high"-fat diets like this healthier than "high"-carbohydrate ones? Current science seems to say yes.

The evidence to support such diets is presented in Barry Sears' popularized "Zone" books. In 2000, CRON-WEB contributor MR put Sears' claims to the test by extensively researching the Zone. The results are here:
