In biological systems, is quercetin as good as resveratrol? Or BETTER....?

There is a lot of evidence indicating that quercetin is "close" to resveratrol in terms of biological impact.
I have a lot of respect for Sinclair and Guarente, and the work that resveratrol and sir2 scientists have done. However, in this process, there has probably been a little bit of "resveratrol hype".
However, future findings may indicate that they are different enough to warrant indepedent consideration.
Where do you find quercetin? Onions and cranberries are a couple of decent sources.
In the study seen below, resveratrol goes head-to-head against quercetin in the suppression of tissue factor production at the endothelium. Tissue Factor (TF) is a protein, and TF is produced by endothelial cells when they are unhappy and want the blood to start clotting.
Both resveratrol and quercetin can reduce TF production, but, interestingly, quercetin can reduce TF production even MORE than resveratrol.

".....We showed earlier that two red wine phenolics, resveratrol and quercetin, suppressed TF induction in endothelial cells.......Among major red wine phenolics, quercetin appears to be the predominant suppressor of TF induction." - PMID: 16507316
